Director Kerry Casserly, a veteran of many Chorus Line productions including the Broadway cast, really brought out all the nuances, humor and pathos in this landmark show. The beautiful Nancy Lemenager made a spectacular Cassie, opposite the driven Zach of Roger Castellano. All the characters seemed vivid and believable, with special kudos going to David Baum (Mike - "I Can Do That"), Arthur W. Marks (Richie – "And I’m black…"), Brian Spitulnik (shy Puerto Rican Paul San Marco), Gabrielle Ruiz (Diana Morales – "What I Did for Love"), Heléne Yorke (surgically enhanced Val), and Barb Schoenhofer (Sheila – "Can the adults please smoke?"). Kerry was ably assisted by John R. Sloan, in order to get the show up in such good shape with only nine rehearsal days, and the lively orchestra was conducted by Dennis Castellano.
