Inspired by and featuring the songs of Elvis Presley
Book by Joe DiPietro
Suggested by Shakespeare’s romantic comedies
What happens when you take elements of "A Midsummer Night's Dream," "Twelfth Night," and "As You Like It," re-locate the action to the American Midwest of the 1950s, and then put it all into a blender with the Elvis Presley songbook? You get a fun-filled, brand-new Broadway musical with lots of energy, plenty of laughs, and some great tunes, including "Are You Lonesome Tonight?," "Jailhouse Rock," and "I Can't Help Falling in Love with You."
(Rated PG for romantic innuendos. Est. running time, 2 hr. 10 min.)
