ANNUAL GIVING

Each year, annual contributions make up approximately 25% of Music Theatre of Wichita’s operating fund. These donations help us to provide Broadway-caliber productions at a fraction of the cost, to keep ticket prices at a minimum, and to further invest in our educational outreach that now includes the summer apprentice program, the Jester Awards, and the youth choir.

Who gives to Music Theatre?

In addition to the corporations, foundations, and businesses that sponsor our shows, music theatre patrons, just like you, make generous contributions. Our contributors include music theatre patrons who have never missed a show, former apprentices, educators, and those who believe in the importance of supporting the uniquely American art of musical theatre.

How can I make a contribution?

Music Theatre of Wichita accepts donations in the form of cash, check, stock, in-kind gifts, and bequests. We can take donations by credit card (MC/VISA/AMEX/Discover) or we can set up a donation payment schedule based upon your pledge.

ENDOWMENT GIVING

What is the permanent endowment?

In 1996, Music Theatre of Wichita, guided by its board of directors and with the support of countless corporations, foundations, businesses, and individuals, established a permanent endowment. The endowment is invested money with the interest income serving as a permanent revenue source for MTW. This income helps fund annual operating expenses when needed. The permanent endowment is a long-term investment in the perpetuity of Music Theatre of Wichita.

How can I contribute to the permanent endowment?

Music Theatre of Wichita accepts donations for the permanent endowment in the form of cash, check, stock, in-kind gifts, and bequests. We can take donations by credit card (MC/VISA/AMEX/Discover) or we can set up a donation payment schedule based upon your pledge. You can make a one-time donation, a one-time pledge, or a multi-year pledge by calling 265-3253.

IN-KIND DONATIONS

Music Theatre of Wichita is always in need of in-kind donations that include office equipment and supplies as well as costumes, props, and furniture. Click HERE to view our wish list as of June 2005.
